Members of Parliament discussed the bill, which defines treaty of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Indonesia, in the open session of Parliament on Tuesday.
The treaty, consisting of a preamble and 25 articles, urges terms of cooperation in areas such as locating and identifying persons and objects, inspecting objects and locations, getting expert advice, notification of documents, including those which require the presence of persons, providing information and evidence, search, seizure and facilitate the presence of witnesses or assistance to individuals in the process of investigation.
